Sleep

After my baby, I was not compromising on any mattress. Mattresses off-gas chemicals, and Naturepedic is one of three safe options out there. Love them.

Happsy is more cost-effective than Naturepedic and we have one of these in our house too! So good.

Coyuchi is all clean non-toxic materials and well-sourced wool. Most bedding is not made from safe non-toxic options and you don't want that especially when sleeping.

I recommend everything from Pact. Their materials are soft, they make no compromises on toxicity (all organic cotton), and they're not pricey!

There is underrated research to show how the materials of our bedding can impact health and sleep quality. As much as possible, opt for natural fiber or organic cotton bedding. Pact cannot fail you here.

Materials made with fibers that are not natural can shed plastics and chemicals that are not good for health. This is our favorite cuddle-on-the-couch blanket and is GOTS certified, one of the highest standards.

Most pillows are filled with plastic polyester (plastic) or other toxic chemicals which off-gas. Given you put your brain touches this and your nose often breaths into it, I only want very safe materials. Naturepedic is great!

These are the only non-toxic curtains I can find! All others can off-gas chemicals especially when exposed to sunlight from windows.

This is great for reducing screen brightness without adding flicker to the screen. Your screen flickers which stresses your nervous system out and Iris mitigates it.

I don't know what we would do without this white noise machine, especially since having a baby. It is an absolute must. You don't realize how much even tiny noises can disturb your sleep until you get a white noise machine.

Daylight Computer is the product that I cannot stop raving about. Their screens do not have any blue light or flicker, which means no eye strain. The best part is that their lighting lets me use them outside in the sun.

I used to use Eight Sleep more. I still use it, especially when I run hot. It's great for that to prevent middle of the night wake-ups.
